"உயிரிலும் மேலான தாய் நாடு இன்று உடலங்கள் எரிகின்ற பேய் வீடு !
பயமின்றி நாம் வாழ்ந்த சிறு கூடு இன்று பாதகரால் சிதைந்த மண் மேடு !"
Which is the song which would echo when we travel along A9 road which means "the mother land which I hold better than my life , is a place now where human bodies are cremated!. The small nest where we lived with fear is now destroyed lump of soil by barbarians!"
This article just covers up most of truth , rather once against pops up the minority Tamils who are willing to live within a state even after majority Sinhalese have shown their voice for Mahinda in the last election whom we all want to be prosecuted.
Also Mr.Akilan , how did you turn blind on the newly grown "Buddha statues" on your way to Jaffna? They were so bright and new and you must not have missed them. What did you think when the graves of Tamil soldiers were destroyed and Sri Lanka military monuments are given the first preference to be built on Tamil Home land?
Did you notice the road sign board which says " Yapanaya" and "Yappa Pattuna" in Sinhala along A9 road? Do you know where this "Yaappa Pattuna" comes from in the history?
It is so sad , that you did not focus what majority Tamils are moving ahead with.. We should not see the arms conflict as a individual's fight as majority Sinhalese think.
Not that 35,000 Tamil youth fought for nothing. Not that another 30,000 Tamil youth are in jails is easily taken. Not that more than 200,000 Tamils killed specially those 20,000 killed to be taken easily.
Also after all this did the majority Sinhala nation realised the need to calm down and forget colonising Tamil home lands? Did the present government realise that building houses and infra structure is important than building military monuments?
Writing nicely is easier and we know with all your influence you can reach the world better than others . But it never means you can beat the Tamil Diaspora's power. We are becoming strong voice and we will take every avenue to win our right to chose what we want.
Did you listen to a song called
"uyrinum melaana thaay nadu , inru udalangal erikinra pey veedu! . Payaminri naam vazhntha siru koodu inru paathakaraal sithaintha pe

The Tamils, ie., we, have to begin by giving up the demand for an "exclusive Tamil Homeland", a.k. Tamil Apertheid concept. The demands of the Tamils since 1949 would be equivalen to Hispanics in the USA demaning exclusive rights to Calfironia, with the spanish language enshrined there. In the USA it will not be tolerated even for one day, even though USA is a high country compared to SRi Lanka whih can be fitted into the souther end of California. What the Tamils need is NOT costitutitonal bickering, but a steady focus on economic power. The Colombo Vellalah lChristian eaders (SJV, GGP, etc) forgot all this as they had no economic problems, and merely fought for the crown for themselves. Instead, Tamils have to learn to create a multi-cultural Sri Lanka, as envisaged by DSSenanayake. Tamils have to go back to square one instead of blaming the Sinhalese.

I like Mr. Ahilan\'s style of writing and the content. Gov. is not going to give a so called solution to every Tamil problem within a short time. Tamil population and its leaders have had several oppotunities to be king makers, but they have missed most of them. Sinhala leadership is also partly to blame, but isn\'t it true for any country. I hope the tamil leadership will be willing to engage the party in power to create a better conditions for the Tamil popules.
