Vrinda Baliga lives in Hyderabad, India, and is the author of the short story collection Name, Place, Animal, Thing. Her work has appeared in The Best Asian Short Stories 2018 (Kitaab International), Asia Literary Review, The Indian Quarterly, New Asian Writing, Coldnoon, Muse India and other literary journals and anthologies. 'Counting Elephants' will appear in her forthcoming collection Arrivals and Departures.
