38th Annual Conference on South Asia
Location: Madison, Wisconsin (USA)
The Annual Conference on South Asia attracts over 500 scholars and other interested parties annually, who travel from a dozen countries around the world. The conference features 75 or more academic panels and roundtables, as well as association meetings and special events ranging from performances to film screenings.
Another component of the Conference is the exhibit space. University presses, independent publishers and non-profit organizations provide the conference participants with resources, and publications on Southasian topics. The exhibit space is also a great opportunity to meet with other scholars and to connect with the booksellers.
The conference is sponsored by the Center for South Asia at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
