Bingun Menaka Gamage

Bingun Menaka Gamage is the news editor of the Sinhala- language daily ‘Mawbima’ since January 2022. In 2019, he was named RTI Journalist of the Year at Sri Lanka’s Journalism Excellence Awards, jointly organised by the Editors’ Guild of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Press Institute. Gamage focuses on in-depth, investigative reporting that holds power to account and serves the public interest.
