Nepal Earthquake: Role of SAARC in Disaster Management and Reconstruction in South Asia

In light of the recent earthquake in Nepal, People's SAARC (PSAARC), in collaboration with India International Centre (IIC), is organising a panel discussion on 'Nepal Earthquake: Role of SAARC in Disaster Management and Reconstruction in South Asia'. The event will focus on SAARC and its functioning in the effective management post disaster, in both short and long run. 

The speakers include Kanak Mani Dixit (Founding Editor, Himal Southasian), Dr Ajay Gondane (Joint Secretary, SAARC Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India), Sheel Kant Sharma (Former Secretary-General, SAARC) and Ashim Roy (New Trade Union Initiative).
