Information on Kanak Mani Dixit’s arrest

(On 2 May 2016, the Supreme Court of Nepal ordered the release of Kanak Mani Dixit, journalist, activist and Himal Southasian’s founding editor, responding to a habeas corpus writ petition. Dixit was arrested by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on 22 April.)
