Bernardo A Michael and Anil Varghese

Bernardo Michael is a professor of history at Messiah University. He has written on the history of the Anglo-Gorkha borderlands, and is the author of 'Statemaking and Territory: Lessons from the Anglo-Gorkha War' (1814-1816) (Anthem Press, 2012). He is currently working on a biography of the Anglican educator and activist, Charles Freer Andrews (1871-1940). Anil Varghese is a journalist and the managing editor of Forward Press, a Delhi-based bilingual (English-Hindi) publisher that seeks to consolidate and promote the intellectual capital of the historically oppressed.
